The Love of a Friend
Hello friends. Color of the Day is on standby for a week. Please read.
I wanted to take a moment to talk about a wonderful person that has had a lot of influence on my life for almost 10 years. This wonderful friends name is Leesa. She was my encouragement, my person I could talk to when I was sad. The person I could tell bad jokes to and she would still laugh. She was my second opinion on most things I do. She could keep a secret like no other (even if it was because she forgot the secret). She was creative, caring, loving to everyone she met and made time for me even when she wasn't "feeling it". All these things and more she was to me...as I was to her. That is what best friends are for. On October 8th God said it was her time to go. It was unexpected and has left me shaken, feeling numb and kinda a mess. I am working on being at peace with this, knowing she is now in Gods arms and in a much better place. Her husband had been unexpectedly taken from her...and now she is with him and I know they are both very happy together at last. I know Leesa is at peace now. I will not be posting the Color of The Day for about 1 week as I travel to Colorado to assist her family of whom I love. Stand by and hang tight....I will be back with more colors soon. Thank you all for understanding. And one more thing...call your best friend and tell them you love them!

Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times.
It's a verse I've shared with a dear navy wife for well over 30 years. Nothing else needs to be said. I can't tell you how many times I've opened an email or text at a time I needed to hear it most. There it was - sometimes nothing more than: 17:17
I always know who it's from and it blesses me each and every time. May the God who loves you heal your heart, comfort and bring you peace.
Very sincerely,
Susie Lessard ~
