Getting Stitchy with Dies - By Diezyne

Welcome friends to the premier of By DIEzyne Dies presented by C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps and Designer Rhea Weigand, Passionate Paper Creations, llc.

We have an exciting weekend planned starting right here, right now!

I love stitching so this die is perfect!  I got to even use one of my new released stamps.  I think they make the perfect combination.  Don't you?  You can get this stamp HERE.

By DIEzyne Dies were created for the Color Artist.  As Color Artist we love to color most of all.  Making them into cards can be challenging.  With By DIEzyne it makes this part of designing easier!

There are:
Card Making Dies
Dies that help complete layouts
Mixing and Matching is easy
All dies have pierce or stitch marks!

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
The focal point of the dies are large enough to accommodate our Colored Images!
You can easily create "Clean and Simple" Designs or "Fussy and Detailed" with lots of your favorite embellishments and ribbons.

The party is going all weekend!!!!
There are going to be contest, games, random drawings and whatever else we think of :)
We have tons of prizes to give away!!!!!!!

From Here to There

...and this is how we get from here to there...through a covered bridge of course.  This covered bridge is in California.   The name of it is Honey Run.  If you love covered bridges this one is for you!  A couple of the gals that colored it also made it look like a barn.  be sure and click on the links below for more eye candy and inspiration using this image.  One of the fun things about the image is you can change the seasons to suit your fancy.  With all the samples below you can see it was a favorite with the designers!  If you want your own rubber stamp of this image you can find it HERE at CC Designs.  This is one of my NEW released stamps.

Always a Sunshine

Some flowers just shine no matter what!  The amazing talented artist friend, Erin Dertner went to Europe and took some amazing sunflower shots, this is inspired by her photography.  I love floral so I have to say this is one of my favorites of all the favorites of my new stamp line so far.  It is a decent size making it easy to color.  Be sure and get your stamp at CC Designs.

More of the beautiful sunflower inspired cards can be found on the blogs below.  Be sure and click on the links for more details on their blogs

Birthday Wish

I have been having fun going through some of my colored images and whipping up a card or two.  Then I had the baby...so the cards just sat.  I am finally getting around to posting a few (yes I can type one handed while rocking the baby)  Here is a cutie pie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I added eyes but got a little lazy about the rest of the face.  I still love how she turned out.  My favorite part is the pleats in her dress.  I wonder if I can duplicate that next time :)

Pup in Boots

A month back Aurora Wings had a little challenge.  All we had to do is color up this image.  It was a painful challenge...ha ha...not really...nothing about coloring is painful!  Here is my submission for the challenge.  I had to see what I could do to make the boots shine.  I went a little overboard when I put in the background, but it was already started so I had to finish it.  You can find this image in her store HERE.

Fairy Sweet Friend

How about this over the top card?  I finally had time (not really) to place this onto a card.  I used unusual colors to color her up.  Most of the image was colored using a "water brush" with alcohol in it.  I love the results when using this technique as it is soft and you can get colors to blend that might not have blended normally.  You can get this image at the MakeItcrafty store.

A Little Star is Born

Not too long ago the amazing All Dressed Up Design team blessed me with the most amazing gift of cards for my baby shower.  Every one of them was a piece of art and you could see all the love that went into them.  Owner Wendy drew up an amazing handful of images for this special occasion.  You can get these images in her store.  Here is what I created with one of the images.  You can see it is perfect for both girl or boy baby cards...for that matter...how about using this image for Christmas...very little coloring so it will go quick right? Ha ha!!

Christmas Carols...Already?

Yes the music is already being played in stores, so you might as well get over it and join in on the fun!  Here is a new release for All Dressed up.  I colored it up for the "Anything Goes" challenge.  I love doing challenges as it encourages me to 1. color and 2. step outside my comfort zone.  I hope you take some time to come play with us over HERE.

Biro Nuts!

Crazy for Biro's...whats that you say?  How about a REAL stretch of creativity for the latest challenge at Make It Crafty!!!  BALL POINT PENS!  Yes this was a challenge for me and i actually had a few attempts that were put along the wayside.  Its hard doing skin without skin tones so I went with a slight bit more organic approach with mushrooms.  Below is a tutorial on how I accomplished the end result shown here.  So dust off those ball point pens and give it a try and then head over to Makeitcrafty to enter in on the fun!
