Sweet Wishes to You

Snowdrops and Tea Roses is the latest from Power Poppy.  It comes in digital form with sweet sentiments.  I had such a relaxing time coloring this up amongst the chaos of my everyday doings.

I wanted to keep with a slight vintage feel, so kept the Tea Roses more traditional.  I can almost smell them.  They remind me of my sweet Grandma and the large wild bush outside her front door.  When I was younger I used to pick the dainty roses and inhale their floral smell like I could breath all the smell right out of them in one inhale.  But the smell still lingered.  I am not a huge fan of roses but these hold a special place in my heart.

Jen, what an exquisite card! Your coloring is absolutely amazing, and I could look at it all day and still find something that I could learn from. What a beautiful memory of your grandmother. I have precious memories like that of my grandmother and her hydrangeas. I love the color of your roses, and they do look like I could smell their scent! Stunning way to finish it with the cheese cloth and hat pins. Love it! Hugs! xoxo
