Whoooo Love's You?

Here is a card I made for the Stampendous catalog.  I think owls are so cute.  This one is a little more simple then the normal but I think it turned out just right.  You can get your image HERE on the Stampendous web site.  Just a few more months until schools out...better get those cards made!

A Bit of Easter

Our last wonderful class full of brilliant talent at The Craft Retreat was using new colors of pinks and purples.  We added to our collection RV21 RV23 RV13 as well as V12 V15 V17.  We also used E33 E35 E57 and W1 to finish off these pretty cards.  The cute egg images are by Stampendous HERE, and the Bunny in the basket is by Dustin Pike HERE.  The other images were grabbed from the web.  We had so much fun.  For those of you who need to finish assembling your cards here is the completed images.  See you at next class "Birthday Cards".

The delicious purple ribbon was from Creative Impressions as well as the loop ribbon, sheer flowers and brads.  Did you know you can buy bulk from this company so you can have enough to use in classes.  I love this company soooo much!

Hop To It

Dustin has a challenge going on HERE.  Anything but a card...with an Easter theme.  I thought i would make something to hold some Lindt chocolate.  The package came with 4 chocolate carrots, and...well...I could only fit 3 in my little box.  Oh darn, poor me, gonna have to eat it.   I used Dustin's image from his store HERE.

I made a file of which you can snag from me.  Just right click and save.  Open it to print.  Print it on pattern paper at 100%.  Cut out around image and score on score lines, fold and glue.  I have been so busy that I couldn't perfect it...but it works.  Although I used Dustin's fence, I made one for you to assemble.

A New Class Scheduled

I have so bless with my classes being such a hit...who would have thunk?!  I have been teaching 6 Build-A-Book Classes a month as well as a couple beginning Copic classes and a card class.  My weekends are wonderfully booked and now I have expanded to classes during the week.  The Craft Retreat has asked me to add another (3rd) Build-A-Book class to the schedule.  It is already almost sold out and will start on March 30th (and continue the last wednesday of every month).  If you are in the area and wish to get into this class please contact The Craft Retreat.  My wonderful hubby has also surprised me with a high tech class tool to use....those taking my class will just have to wait and see.

For those of you who are patiently waiting for this class book...I am getting a bit closer, working out details.  Videos still need to be made and I am working on all the worksheets to be included.  Thank you for your patience and support.  I hope to post a few more tutorials in the mean time as soon as I get caught up.  Be sure to follow my blog so you can keep up on all the exciting news.

Thanks for hangin in there with all my morning to teach 2 back to back classes today!

Creative Hugs!  With all your love you make my cheeks R20 :)

Ps.  This image colored in the class...stay tuned.

I Wub YOU!

How much do I wub you?  This (*--------------0----------------*) much!  I am sitting in a warm house, inside from the cold chill of the brisk wind of rural Alaska.  I get to enjoy the cold for 6 more days before returning to the sweltering heat of Arizona and whipping out my....COPICS!  In the mean time I made a few cards to post while up in here is one of them.

So....greetings from Alaska, where I was officially kissed by a moose!

Oh, Grow Up!

How is this for a birthday card!  I love this bunny image.  This was fun and quite simple to color.  The planter is popped up 3 times...yes, that means colored 3 times.  Using Copic colors E33, E35, E57 blend and then coloring over all 3 colors with E08 makes for a nice pottery color.

Other colors used:  W1, W3, W5, W7, B99, B97, B93, YG63, YG03
