Ready for the Chill

What a fun stamp to color.  So easy.  The details make it work!  Some pine flicks and a little cone blending and your are done!  But wait...winter cones must have snow so I added a little Ice glitter to finish it off.

Grin and Berry It!

I am a nature lover and Marcy with Power Poppy did these "raspberries" which are delicious.  I colored them up as blackberries because I am rebellious.  This image comes digitally so you can size it however you like.  I hope you check out the rest of the inspiration as well as all the glorious goodies on the Power Poppy site.

Apple Time

This stamp reminds me of a crate label.  I have seen it colored up like a peach, or you can color it like an apple.  It really begs to be the center of attention on a card don't you think?

Little Nip - Hot Sip

Just finished designing for my upcoming class in Phoenix.  This is a fun way to show a friend you love them.  I love coloring this image and know you will too.  It can be used as coffee, tea, cocoa with a little fluff on top.

Winter Bliss

I know no one is ready for Winter (except me living in 117 degree Phoenix heat).  I decided to color this stamp up just incase it might have a cooling effect.  Nope it didn't...but it was fun to color.  This stamp is available at Little Darling Rubber Stamps.

Color of the Day 216

***Please note that I color using the lightest color first, dark, medium and back to light.  I only slightly blend the edge of the last color placed.  Then add the shadow.

If you miss one of the combo's you can find it on the side of the blog labeled "Color of The Day".  Please realize that your computer screen and printer can change the way you see it or how the colors print, but if you try it yourself you will get some fun combos...promise!

Also, feel free to pin them.  I ask that you do not sell them printed out, do not place them on your personal blog but rather link to mine.  These are for personal use only.   Leave me some love if you want to see more!

Thank you to all my followers and fans from all over the world.

New "Tool" on the market...WiNK! WiNK!

If you love the perfect "tool" for the project you are going to love this!  Yes, I am being an enabler.  But how else are you going to know what you NEED?!  Read below if you dare!  This is your last, run far away....or else....

Are you one of those that loves the perfect pen for the job?  Of course you are.  As most of you know my favorite coloring medium is the Copic Sketch marker.  How many times have we colored over an area we meant to leave white?  I can't even count the times.  Well I found the solution...wait for it....

I created this image and design using the NEW Kirarina WiNK pens.  What is this you ask?  Well if you are still here with me and didn't run away then its too late for you to leave now...

Imagination International Inc (Copic) now carries these fabulous new pens called WiNK.  Kirarina WiNK is a multi-purpose pen that is compatible with a variety of surfaces including paper, photos, plastic and glass. The metallic ink allows you to add touches of color on dark surfaces and all 18 colors contain specks of glass that make them shimmer.

Let me show you what I created using 3 different WiNK pens (Black Pearl, White Pearl and Silver Metallic).  Here is the process I used.
Sketch out the design (if desired, or go freehand)

Start applying dots to the area.  I used a black semi gloss paper for this project.  Using the Silver Metallic I placed dots in the medium shadowed areas.  I then applied the White Pearl over the Silver in the areas that represent the highlighted areas.

I came back and added the Black pearl in areas I wanted to remove the white and show separation.

Using the Medium Aristo Curve (by Copic) I added some lines to create designs in the blank areas.

Here is the finished product using the 3 different WiNK pens

DO NOT COLOR OVER THE WiNK'S WITH YOUR COPICS...this is for AFTER you are done and need to add back white or black or any other amazing color they now carry.  They are perfect for adding white to the highlight in an eye, or design over something you just created.

For best results when working on absorbent surfaces, slow down so the paper has time to absorb the ink. Once opened, Kirarina WiNK should be kept stored horizontally to keep the flakes of glass evenly distributed. If you are having issues with ink flow, shake thoroughly and pump the tip.

Stuck On You

We are excited to announce the third release from By DIEzyne Dies and Doodle Dragon.  We are celebrating this weekend on Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group and C.C. Designs Facebook Group.
We are kicking everything off with a really big blog hop!

I love a little "dark side" of things so I decided to use "Stuck on You" rubber stamp for my card design.  I wanted to keep it simple so I used By DIEzyne card #1 with simple stitches around the edge.  I also used the smaller portion of the die to create a popped up portion around the image of the first card.  I also used a new die CCDesigns die to create the spider and web.

Do you see how simple it is to turn the little voodoo into a hoodoo...just add a bow!  How about turning it into a gingerbread man....everyone love a little creepy fun don't they?

Little Dolly

I love the Dollhouse collection so much.  I love the expressions on the images face, love the big eyes and the hair is quite fun to color too.  This stamp is called GWEN and is available in the store HERE.  I thought I would color her with Auburn hair color and I am thrilled with the way it turned out.
