Okay its Challenge time over of DustinPikes blog. Its a color theme and as I was out of it, I had to cheat a bit...take an image, color it up, and put it on a card that was already made...that is what happens when one is not up to par. :) I am getting better by the day and wish my equilibrium would return so I can play. Ears are not something to mess with...and you say "what did you say", "I can't hear you"..ha ha
It has given me time to crunch numbers for my upcoming retreat. Just waiting to sign papers for the Marriott in Chandler and then its finalized and the emails with info on the Copic Retreat will be flooding out. I have had a tremendous response with people wanting information. This is going to be amazing!! If you have emailed me for more information to firstname.lastname@example.org you will get the information 24 hours in advance before it goes public as space is limited. See you at the retreat!
Now back to shades of green. I colored Dustin's little opossum. I used W1 W3 W5 W7 and YG63 YG67 YG01 and E42 E31 E35 E57
Don't forget you get Pike's Points just for entering. You can get your images to color for free on his blog or buy something nifty from his website HERE
I am totally in a fairy mode lately. This is only the beginning. I purchased a handful of stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps and I am just waiting to get well enough to color them. But I did have one sitting here waiting to be posted. You are going to love these images. What I love most is the eyes. i love images that have eyes to color. I think they bring so much life into the project. The artist is Ching-chou Kuik and I love her work. Be sure and check them out.

I have been in bed for 2 days now with an ear infection. I am so out of sorts I can't even color. It is that bad....I don't sit still well either. I just might lose my mind. So I thought I would share some images I have been coloring but haven't found the time to make into cards.
And the ants are out here in Sunny Arizona. I love this image...something about coloring a watermelon that make me feel summer. I love Dustin's little ants too...he has a whole handful of them in the new May membership images. Be sure and get May membership HERE.
Colors used: R59 R46 R35 YG67 YG63 YG03 E57 E35 E31 100 C9 C3 I blended the background and then went back over it with blending solution and a rag to great the cool textured effect.

And now its back to work....but this image by peddlerspack.com was sooooo fab I couldn't stop until I was done. So this is it! Now I get to go back to working on classes.....well, I do have one more to post...but it will have to wait...suspense is a good thing.
Another moment to play. And I even have a few more in progress..they are yummy too. I colored in the clouds and actually colored the shadows upside down....no, not me, i wasn't upside down....the cloud shadows are all wrong, but I wasn't about to stop...just went with the flow. I love how it turned out...but next time I might have to color upside down (yes me) to do it correctly :)
I finally had time to play. It seems like the classes have been keeping me very busy and when I get to color its for work (not that it's not fun). Here is a card I made using a blog-iversary image from Doodledragonstudios.com. I love this rooster! You can still get the 200 plus images for 20.00 if you go HERE. Oh, BTW...I know the spelling is wrong...and had already taken the photo...so the YOUR is staying...must not have gotten all my sleep the night I printed that out :)
