I thought this was a fun card that we will be doing at The Paper Collage next month at the TEE and CAKE card class. The inside of the card says "Sorry I forgot your birthday". Makes me giggle! There are still a few seats left so make sure to go to the Class Schedule tab above and get the info and get signed up.
Check it out! Another fun card we will color at The Paper Collage! Details HERE. Limited space so sign up quick! You know I had to add the "sweet" cupcake to this class. I might have to add some chunky glass glitter from Stampendous too...hmmmm....I guess I have a hard time stopping myself!
I will be having some fun over at The Paper Collage in March. All the cards are shown under Class Schedule tab above. Here is one of the cards we will be coloring in class and I will share the other ones over the next few days. We have some cute House Mouse (from Stampendous) as well as DoodleDragon and DoveArt Designs. I hope you can join me!
It is that time of year again and I am gearing up for the 6th annual Boot Camp. I have seats still available if you want to come to sunny Arizona and enjoy a FULL weekend of vigorous, educational and creative fun with a bunch of fabulous woman who have the same interest. Here is sweet Pixie in pink. I love the puff ball that is part of this image. Makes me want to make a wish. You can find this new release at CCDesigns. The sentiment is part of the Teen Sentiments set too.
Little Darling Rubber Stamps has this adorable new release called Boho-Chic. I decided to do her using Zoe's (with MakeItCrafty) "No Line Stamping" technique. It took a little extra time but I think it make her POP. I used bright colors to match the pattern paper I chose.
Simply elegant but not elegantly simple! I love the lilac and butterfly stamp in my latest release (maybe I am just partial to my stamps) I cut a few corners by not coloring the complete image. I didn't wasn't the flowers to be a smooth blend so I just flicked the color in. Really quite a quick coloring job which left more time for the card making process. I hope you enjoy and find inspiration!
You really can't go wrong with a cupcake stamp! It is fun for so many occasions. I think this one is especially yummy! This is another card we will do at Scraps of Love. You can get your rubber stamp their. Be sure and have them hold one for you if you are attending.
Nothing better then a great pair of shoes friends! Here is a quick card I made for my upcoming class. I used High Heels from my last release. I am a huge fan of great shoes and have also been blessed with great friends!
Make It Crafty always has amazing challenges (as most of you know). I love being able to challenge myself as this helps me grow in creativity. This challenge is to create on kraft paper using pink. Did you know you can use Copics on Kraft? My favorite Kraft paper is by American Crafts "Kraft" Smooth because its so smooth. Of course it you need white you will want to use colored pencil. Be sure you finish your marker coloring first as you do not want to ruin your tips with waxy residue from the colored pencils.
Here is what I created for the challenge. I used MakeItCrafty Magnolias and the NEW chippies Doodle Giggle of which you can find in the store. You can enter the challenge HERE.
Little Darlings has some sweet new images and this one comes from the CandiBean Collection. I think Roo is just the sweetest mommy Kangaroo. This image is very versatile. Couldn't you see it used for teen party, birthdays, valentines day, new birth? Kangaroo hop over to LDRS and grab your new stamp.
Little Miss Muffet Stamps and some of the gals from Make It Craftyhave come together for a fun hop and would like to share with you some exciting news. I have a new release of stamps and Little Miss Muffett will be carrying them!! I am focusing on more nature and realistic images with details to make the coloring experience easy. We know you will enjoy creating something beautiful once you get your hands on them.
Enjoy seeing what all the design teams have created and leave comments for a chance to win! We will be showing you just a few but the whole stamp line can be found HERE at Little Miss Muffet Stamps
I wanted to share with you one of the new release digi stamps from All Dressed Up. I just love Wendy's bears so I chose this one to color. I added a little creative color placement to add some facial features and buttons to the image. You have to check out all the release images.
I chose my paper first because i wanted the bear and bunny to match as well as add some paper piecing to the bear. I printed on the pattern paper and then cut out the particular parts I wanted for the clothes, feet and ears. It was fun and relaxin to do. If you saw the card in person you would see that the head and front leg is also popped up.

Today I am blessed to announce that in addition to what I currently do, I have been asked to join Copics Fine Arts Educational team. In celebration of my joining the team, Copic wants to give YOU a chance to celebrate too. The current Papercrafting Teacher Team has joined up for a welcome hop and they are EACH giving away a Copic T-Shirt to one lucky winner. What exactly is the Fine Art Teaching Team and what will I get to do with Copic? Well, the Fine Art Teaching Team is made up of a number of professional artists and instructors who travel across the country demoing and teaching at fine art stores and art schools and anywhere that people are wanting to hear about the wonderful products Copic carries.
I have been a certified Copic instructor since 2010 and am quite passionate about teaching others to love what they do as much as I do. I currently am busy teaching Copic Boot Camp retreats, working on my own DoveArt Designs stamp line, and designing in mixed media, jewelry making, card making and altered arts. If you didn't know, I also has a number of video classes available with Annie’s Publishing (links available on the right of my blog). I am over-the-top excited to be adding this new teaching venture into my line-up.
I have already been busy booking demos and classes in my area! If you would like me to demo or teach in the Arizona area at your local paper crafting, art supply store or your college just contact me. I am even branching out into working with fabric at local quilting shops. The possibilities are endless!! For my intro we are doing this hop. You have an opportunity to win prizes! be sure and leave a comment on all the lovely, talented and AMAZING teachers blogs for your chance to win a Copic t-shirt. I will pick a winner from my blog on Monday, February 9th and announce it in this post. Thank you all for your amazing support over the years...and years to come!!!!
I love the feel of this card and it was quite fun doing all the shading too. This is one of Stampendous's newer stamps and is available now in the store or at your local stores. What a unique "celtic" looking heart. It can be colored both feminine or masculine depending on the colors you choose. I went a little girlie on this one.
Copic Certification classes are back in Phoenix! You still have time to sign up. I loved these classes...and the teacher Debbie is A-Mazing! I am going to be at both Beginner and Intermediate on the 6th and 7th of February. I hope to see you there!! You can see the details under Copic Schedule tab above! Or HERE
Hey there "Hot Lips". I made this card using Stampendous fun background stamp and lips. I just love the sentiment they have because how many of us used to say "ewww, kisses give you cooties" when we were younger..now we know the truth. They do! I even added teeth to the lips. You can get your stamps at Stampendous and have so much fun with them all!
Its preview day at CCDesigns and I am sharing the cute little "Elfie". She looks like she has a sweet temperament just like me (ha ha). You can find this stamp in the store soon tomorrow! You are going to NEED this stamp and another one I will be sharing later in the month (Pixie). Be sure and head over to the store HERE and check them out.
It is challenge time again. I got to play with the digi "Prom Princess". Isn't she fabulous? I wanted to keep it simple (but royally failed). This is a perfect way to show that grad that she rocked it! Color her or one of the other ADU and enter it into the challenge "anything goes" for your chance to be a lucky winner.
