Copic Must Have's - Cats & Dogs

Remember I said I would post a continuance of yesterdays post....well here it is!
Imagination International has some super cool instructional books out if you didn't know already.  I got to play with the Cats & Dogs series and as I was reading through it I was thrilled with all the detailed instructions written up in the book.  And better yet you can print the images and color along.
I wanted to show you how simple it was to color an image white.  This coloring was lickety-split!  Of course you could do this same thing to anything that you want to look white.  All you do is color in the shadowed areas.  As easy as that.  You can find out this little tidbit as well as so many more in the book.

See how you can create dimension by popping up the background and then adhering the foreground to it.  Super cool right?!  You can refer to previous post to see how I made the background pop using X-press It High Tack foam tape HERE.

Copic Must Have's - Foam Mounting Tape

Well there are just some adhesives I can't get enough of and foam mounting tape is one of them.  You have seen all the layers I create on cards and most of them are popped up.  I love it that way.  It adds such incredible dimension to any project.  Well, today I thought I would show you another way to use the High Tack Foam Mounting Tape from X-Press It.  How about using it for dimension on a card background?  It is as easy as peel and stick!

First I cut down my card front to an A2 size.  Then I cut off steps of the farm mounting tape and applied it to the card front.  Next I peeled back the protective piece off the strips and covered the sticky portion with microbeads. You could use anything for this such as sand, sequins and more.  It was quick and easy.

This is the bottom layer of my card I am working on...wanna see what I am doing?
You didn't really think I would give it all away did you?!!
Come back tomorrow for the whole card using another Copic Must Have!

You can find the X-Press It High Tack Foam Mounting Tape HERE
It comes in two convenient sizes at a GREAT price!

Last Chance! Copic BootCamp 2016

Safe Journey

This week, ALL WEEK,  LDRS Creative and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® is doing an amazingly creative collaboration.  This is the cute little Saturated Canary stamp I chose for this project.  The project itself is pretty simple and you could do something like this in a blink of an eye.

Using one of LDRS Creative Creative Basics Edge die I created the mountains with the cute little stitches on different color green cardstock.  Then I layered the pieces on a sky background using Scrapbook Adhesive 3D foam squares.  I love the small sizes that you get get into small areas.  If you could touch and feel the card you would see all the dimension.  Next I colored and cut out the image and placed it onto the card front using an E-Z Runner.  BAM!  DONE!!

I hope you enjoy all the inspiration this week by the creative Design teams from both LDRS Creative and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®

Looking Gorgeous!

I thought it would be fun to do my own background with this image.  I created faux stitched holes.  I then colored up the image keeping it very simple.  You can see how I made the paper HERE.  This little sweet stamp is by LDRS Creative and is one of the All Dressed Up stamps.  She is so dainty but colors up nicely.
