Dreamweaver and Stampendous Blog Hop Week

I hope you have been following us around this week as Dreamweaver Stencils' Dream Team and the Stampendous Design Teams have been providing some "Dream-pendous" inspiration for you, with multiple opportunities to win some fabulous prizes from both companies. Every day this week, you have been directed from both the Stampendous Impressions' blog or the Dream It Up! blog to the players du jour for your oohing and aaahing pleasure. Everyone is playing today for the final shebang , our final hop for the week. This is your opportunity to see how to mix and mingle your creativity...if you are a stenciler, you will be fascinated at combining stamps with your first love. If you are a stamper, you will be wowed at how stencils can add to your impressions.

Here is my final creation for this hop.

I used the Dreamweaver Butterfly stencil on glossy paper using the PEARLESCENT embossing paste.  I used PINK POPPY FX on top of it while it was till damp, slightly sprinkling on the top of the past and lightly brushing it with a dry paint brush.  I discovered that if you use the paste on glossy card stock it takes a little longer to 'adhere itself to the paper and you can heat it (using a heat gun from beneath and it will bubble the paste up.  You then let it slightly cool and press down the bubble to create texture.  How fun it that...only AMAZING!  You Must try it!  I finished it off by using Stampendous MICA flakes and embossing enamel  to "Frantage" it up a bit.   The background is stamped with the music notes from this set HERE.  This card is so shimmery.

Here is where you can get your stencil.  If your looking for the Stampendous images you can check out your local stores or go HERE to find your closest dealer until the end of the month where the NEWEST stuff will be available on the Stampendous store...yes, they are THAT new!

Be sure to leave comments as you tour the blogs (with your email addy!) for a chance to win one of these sets:  US residence eligible for prizes.
Leave me some love before you "gear up" for the next player!

Jenn...Pam is right I have been smitten with your work on heating the paste and immediately upon seeing it I started heating and bubbling the pearlescent paste with the Metallic F/X powders. I just finished three cards for upcoming classes that I will be teaching. Thank you for the time you have put into creating with my stencils...you have given me a needed lift. LOL!
